I wanted this washcloth to be a bright and pretty addition to your kitchen.

Drops made sense – water; stripes are in fashion and so is color blocking. Let's have all three in the mix!

We start out with one color garter stitch, switch color and work the Tear Drop stitch, then end with striping in garter stitch using both colors.

Easy peasy beginner level project with the Tear Drop stitch to keep things interesting.

Yarn & Label Review:

This is a great basic cotton go to yarn. Stitch definition is great. Yarn is not tightly spun, so it will withstand frogging a few times. Easy care - machine wash and dry! Take a close look at the Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton label. It has inch markings on the side!
